"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
A really good, very sweet, pretty easy recipe that Dan found in an old cookbook from Atlanta. He's made it lots of times to great reviews. Nuts are optional, I usually don't put them in...This photo is in a 9 x 9 dish because I made two cakes to give one away. The recipe makes a 9 x 13 dish. It's a good recipe because you can do all the melting and heating in the microwave without worrying about the stovetop.
