2 lb. whole fresh shrimp, peeled & deveined, tails left on
1/2 c salt butter
1 t. worchestershire sauce
1/4 t Tabasco
1 t. sugar
1/4 t. salt
1 t. fresh ground pepper
3/8 t. cayenne
1 t. fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 t liquid hickory smoke
1/4 c butter, melted to serve with shrimp

Prepare marinade by melting butter, then add remaining ingredients. Marinate shrimp at least 30 minutes, turning after 15 minutes. Grill for 8 to 10 minutes on preheated grill, basting with marinade. Serve with melted butter to which 3 to 4 T. of marinade has been added.

This recipe works well as both an appetizer and a main course. Really good grilled shrimp and you can us almost any size shrimp, skewered on wooden skewers! Just like several restaurants we have eaten at!
