2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/ tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup chopped raw apple

Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 nuts, chopped
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 8 ingredients. Add eggs and buttermilk. Beat 1 minute.

Stir in apple. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Cover pan and refrigerates overnight.

The next day, set pan out on counter while preheating oven to 350ºF. Bake 45-50 minute. Turn off the oven, open the oven door and let the coffeecake cool in the oven. Cut into square and serve while warm.
