Ingredients:
Ingredients:
4 squares of unsweetened chocolate
2 sticks of butter or margarine ( I usually use 1 of each)
3 slightly beaten eggs
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup broken walnut pieces ( I don't use these because my family doesn't eat nuts-so I add a little more flour instead, no more than 1/4 cup

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the chocolate squares and butter/margarine over low heat (I do it in a top of a double boiler pan). When melted, remove from heat and add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla-mixing well. Stir in the flour and salt (mixed together) and mix well. Add the walnuts if you are using them. Bake in a greased 9x9 square pan for 45-50 min. at 350. Don't overbake-I think I always just bake them for 45 min.
I dust mine with sifted powdered sugar-but they are just as good plain.
