1 whole small red onion, quartered
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 jar roasted red peppers (6 oz.) drained
12 whole fresh basil leaves, or 1/2 t. dried basil
12 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place onion in small baking dish. Drizzle oil over. Bake until soft, about 45 minutes. Cool.

2. Puree onion with roasted bell peppers and basil leaves in food processor. Add cream cheese and blend just until combined.

3. Transfer to medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate dip at least 3 hours. (Can be prepared 1day ahead.)
