½ cup white sugar
½ cup butter
½ tsp salt
½ tsp vanilla
½ cup milk
1 ¼ cup icing sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, butter and milk in a pan. Stir and boil for 1 minute. Cool. Add icing sugar, salt and vanilla. Dip doughnuts into this immediately after frying. To drain, use oven rack with cookie sheet underneath to catch drippings. Scrape off dripping into pan and reheat slightly when needed again
