6 cups turnip, cook, drain and mash
3 tbsp. margarine
2 eggs
Beat well and add
3 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
salt and pepper
pinch nutmeg
Directions:
Directions:
Add to turnip, stir. Put in a buttered casserole dish. Toss 1/2 cup bread crumbs with melted margarine, spread on top and bake for 25 minutes at 375 degrees.
