1 packaged smothered okra
1-2 pounds peeled shrimp
1-2 quarts water
Salt and red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
We always had the okra in the freezer from Mom, now you need to call Janice to get it! Or smother your own.
Add shrimp to okra and cook until shrimp begin to turn light pink in color.
Add water and simmer for about an hour, adding salt and red pepper to taste. Serve over steaming hot rice.
