water

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 1 cup of water and 3 cups sugar to a boil. Cook without stirring until mixture is thick and syrupy. Add peeled figs. Cook on medium-high heat until figs are clear looking and the liquid is like syrup. Pack in sterilized jars and wipe rims of jars. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes to ensure sealing. This amount of syrup yields 2-3 pints.
