3 layers white cake
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped raisins
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
boiled frosting

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together water, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook over low heat, until mixture becomes thick and clear, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add butter, lemon juice, fruits and nuts. Cool filling. Spread filling and then frosting between layers of cake, but not on top layer. Frost entire cake.
