1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. (1 pound can) Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 tsp vanilla flavoring

ICING:
1/2 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1/2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add alternately with chocolate syrup. Add vanilla. Beat until creamy. Pour into a greased and floured 9"x13"x2" pan. Bake 40-45 minutes or until done. Cool.

Icing: Bring butter, sugar, and milk to a boil. Cook 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and nuts. Pour over cooled cake.
