1/2 C. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 and 1/2 C. sour cream
1 C. raisins (straight from package, no soaking)

Directions:

Mix in order and pour into unbaked 8 inch pie crust, (makes small pie). Cover with crust on top, and brush with milk and sprinkle with quite a bit of sugar, makes a nice crunchy, sweet top crust.
Bake 375 45-55 minutes

GRANNY SAYS......Mom used to make this recipe many years ago and I never cared much for it, but then John joined our family and he always loved it and it has been a favorite of his for many years. So at holidays I would always make this one especially for him, as hardly anyone else cared for it either. I tweaked it bit through the years and it is a pretty good pie, especially if you like raisins. I never cared much for raisins, so guess that is why I never much cared for the pie, but it is pretty good.
