Strips of nori (seaweed)

Extras:
Umeboshi (pickled plum)
Sesame seeds
Furikake (Japanese rice seasoning)

Directions:
Directions:
Cover a cereal bowl loosely with plastic wrap. Sprinkle the plastic with salt, then add a handful of rice. Use the plastic wrap to pack rice into a 3" triangle shape. Wrap a 6 x 1" strip of seaweed around one edge. Wrap each rice ball in plastic wrap to pack in lunches.

If you'd like to, when you're packing the rice you can add something in the middle, like an umeboshi. Sprinkle rice ball with sesame seeds or other flavorings if you want.

Personal Notes:
At Mc Maya's house, they sprinkled the onigiri with soy sauce and cooked them lightly on the grill when Natsuho and the other Santo students were visiting. Yum!
