2-1\2 cup of flour
3\4 cup of shortening
2 eggs
1-1\2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. Milk
1\2 tsp. salt
1\2 tap. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening and sugar. In another bowl sift the flour with the salt and baking soda one time. Combine the vanilla and milk. Alternate the dry mixture with the milk mixture. When mixed well, place in the refrigerator for an hour or more. Roll out and shape with cookie cutters. I usually use icing on the cookies but they can be baked with sugar or sprinkles.
