•12 sticks part-skim mozzarella string cheese
•¼ cup Italian breadcrumbs
•¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
•1 teaspoon dried parsley
•¼ teaspoon dried basil
•⅛ teaspoon dried oregano
•⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
•¼ cup all-purpose flour
•1 large egg

Directions:
Directions:
1.Cut cheese sticks in half and freeze until hard, about 30 minutes.
2.In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, panko breadcrumbs, parsley, basil, oregano, and garlic powder.
3.In a separate bowl, add the flour.
4.In a third bowl, add the egg and whisk well.
5.Spray a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
6.Dip frozen cheese sticks into the flour, shaking off any excess flour.
7.Next, dip into the egg and then coat with the breadcrumbs mixture, coating completely.
8.Place sticks on prepared baking sheet.
9.When all of the sticks are coated, freeze on the sheet for at least 15 minutes, or until ready to bake.
10.When ready to bake, preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
11.Place the cheese sticks in the oven and bake for 4-5 minutes, turn sticks over and bake for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until sticks are golden brown and soft.
12.Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch.

You can make the cheese sticks in advance, freeze them on the baking sheet until frozen solid. Transfer to a Ziploc freezer bag and store in the freezer until ready to bake. These will keep in the freezer for up to one month.
