1 package dry yeast
1 T. butter
1/4 C. warm water
1/4 t. soda
1 C. small curd cottage cheese
1 t. salt
2 T. sugar
1 egg
1 T. minced onion or chives
2 1/4 C. flour
2 heaping t. dill seed (not dill weed)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Soften yeast in warm water. Combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, dill seed, butter, soda, salt and egg. Heat to lukewarm. Add to yeast mixture. Add flour and beat well. Cover. Let rise 1 hour. Punch dough down; fold in flour. If dough is too sticky, add a little more flour. Let rise 40 minutes in loaf pan. Bake in greased loaf pan for 40-50 minutes.
