2T. butter
2 minced shallots
1 T. tomato paste from tube
2 t. sugar

Sauté for five minutes

Add 3 minced cloves garlic
2 cups beef broth
1 cup red wine
¼ cup fresh orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Reduce for 40 minutes until total is about one cup. Add salt and pepper to taste (I added neither given I used broth with sodium and was putting it on a black pepper crusted roast. Can hold at this point. Before serving, warm and swirl in 4 T. butter
