1 pound of boneless pork loin
1 pound of veal bottom round, top round or sirloin
can use just pork OR veal
I can breadcrumbs
2 eggs beaten
salt and pepper

Cut the meat into 1 inch uniform cubes. Place on wooden skewers. Dip in beaten egg, drain off excess then roll in seasoned crumbs.

Brown in oil heated in frying pan. Brown all sides. Put in a 13 x 9 metal baking dish and put in 350º oven until cooked through. 30-45 minutes. Do not over cook as it will be dry.

Take drippings to stove. Add 1 can of cream of mushroom soup to make the gravy. Add additional mushrooms if you want.

This recipe was my favorite birthday meal as a child. Grandma made if often for family dinners. It was a pain to make in mass quantities so I would help her. Pure comfort food for the Indrelunas family. The photo is from a letter to Kathy Jones Indrelunas when she wanted to make it as a surprise for Stephen.
