One box good quality chicken broth/stock
2 eggs
About a cup of flour
1/2 t. salt

Warm the broth. Beat the two eggs. Add enough flour to form a very thick paste. Add the salt. Wet a spoon with the broth each time you scoop up a small dumpling and drop it in the broth. Cook 8-10 minutes.

This soup has been our go-to-remedy when someone is sick. Grandma made it for us all the time. Von's prescription for grownups was a hot toddy - one cup boiling water, juice of half of a lemon, 1 T. sugar/honey, one shot bourbon. Repeat until you feel better.
