6 strips bacon
1 1/2 c. brown or white rice
2 diced onions
Box sliced mushrooms
Cabbage
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 - 3 T brown sugar
1 medium jar pasta sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon and remove from pan. Leave grease. Add rice, onion, mushrooms. Brown the rice and veggies. Chunk cabbage. Layer it in 9x13 casserole dish. Add rice mixture. Add ground beef on top. Add second layer of cabbage. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Add pasta sauce and a little water. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Bake at 350º for one hour covered with foil.
