1 quart thin cream, heated
1/2 cup sugar, caramelized
Egg yolks (she doesn't specify how many but it's definitely plural) slightly beaten
1/4 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first four ingredients and beat until well blended. Should look like a custard. Do not cook combined ingredients.


Add
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cups chopped candied cherries
1/4 cup chopped candied pineapple.

Cool and freeze.

Recipe card was very clean so not sure if Mom ever used this recipe but she had it. Sounds like something she would make!!!!
