Boil 5 minutes and cool
6 Tbls. Cocoa
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Cream:
1/2 cup crisco
1 cup sugar
Add:
2 eggs and cream well
Add:
1 cup sour milk (to which 2 teas. of baking soda has been added)
Pour sour milk mixture into creamed egg mix.
Add cocoa mixture
2 cups of flour and 1 teas vanilla

Bake 350 degrees in oblong pan about 1 hour
2 layers - 20 - 30 minutes
3 layers - 15 - 20 minutes
