2 c. mashed potatoes
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

Mix to form a dough. On lightly floured board, roll out pieces into long strips 1/4" thick, and cut into strips 1" wide. In skillet, heat fat (1/2" deep) and fry until brown. Serve hot.
