8 T. (1 stick) butter at room temperature
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 c. chocolate syrup
3 c. confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 T. milk
1 t. pure vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter, cocoa powder and chocolate syrup in a large mixing bowl. Blend with an electric mixer on low speed until just combined, 30 seconds. Stop the machine and add sugar, milk and vanilla. Blend on low speed until the sugar is incorporated, 1 minute. Increase the speed to medium and beat until light and fluffy, 1 minute more.
