Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 Cucumber, sliced ½ inch thick
3 Basil leaves
2 oz. Vodka or Gin (I like to use a cucumber-infused spirit like Hendrick's)
½ oz. Lime juice
½ oz. Simple syrup
½ oz. Club Soda
Bitters
Ice

Directions:
Directions:
Chop two cucumber slices into small cubes and place in a highball glass. Tear two basil leaves and add to glass. Add in lime juice and simple syrup. Add two dashes of bitters and muddle until all cucumber is broken down. Top with ice and your preferred liquor and shake well. Strain over ice and top with club soda. Garnish with a cucumber wheel, basil sprig or lime.

To make simple syrup, combine equal amounts sugar and water in a sauce pan and cook on medium-low heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Allow to cool before using.
