Ingredients:
1 piece of bottom round steak
1 stick of butter
flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
On waxed paper pound flour, salt and pepper into both sides of the steak. Pound the steak a lot. The more you pound it, the more tender it becomes. I use a small dessert plate to do this. Melt ½ stick of butter in a skillet and add steak and brown on both sides. Once brown you will add water, enough to come up to the sides of the steak but not cover the steak. Then you will cover the skillet and cook on low for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Keep checking and adding water almost constantly. Check for sticking by moving the steak around, if its sticking add water to that area and replace the steak and keep cooking.

This is what I named it as a kid, just because it looked like a rug to me.
