1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
3 ripe bananas - Crushed
1/3 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and salt. Add eggs, flour & baking soda. Add bananas. Put ungreased bread pan and bake @ 325 for 50 min.

This recipe is from Sister Jackie Briegel who was my principal the first 6 yrs. of my teaching. At times I have changed this recipe by adding more bananas, adding crushed pineapple or other fruit or using only half the sugar.
