1 bag Hershey's kisses
1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cups creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup brown sugar - packed
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
2 Tbls. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl beat shortening & peanut butter until well blended. Add 1/3 cup sugar, beat until light & fluffy. Add egg, milk & vanilla - beat well.

Stir together flour, baking soda & salt. Gradually add to peanut butter mixture.

Shape dough into 1" balls. Roll in sugar, place on ungreased cookie sheet

Bake @ 350 until lightly browned. Immediately place upwrapped kisses on top of each cookie, pressing down until the cookie cracks around the edges.

Cool on wire rack.
