2 sticks butter
1 C. sugar
4 eggs
1 C. Grandma's Molasses
1 C. buttermilk
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 C. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 C. chopped nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Cream eggs, sugar, and molasses. Sift dry ingredients twice and add alternately with buttermilk. Add nuts. Bake in muffin pan at 350º for 15 minutes. Dough will keep in refrigerator for 2 weeks. Just take out what you need and cook.
