6 cups Cheerios
12 oz. mixed nuts
8 oz. peanuts
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup dark Karo syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Heat butter, syrup and sugar in sauce pan for 5 minutes. Pour over mix and stir well.
Bake on greased cookie sheet 15 minutes at
300º-350º
Stir during cooling to break into bite size snack pieces.

It's a staple for us at Christmas, and I usually take a batch or two into work each year.
I vary the nut mixture (add cashews!)
