2 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup white corn syrup
1/4 cup hot water
2 beaten egg whites
vanilla
nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cook first 3 ingredients on stove until it spins a thread.

Pour 2/3 over egg whites. Put the other 1/3 on stove & bring to a boil. Add to the rest of the mixture. Add vanilla & nuts.

Beat whole mixture until stiff. Form into balls.

This is always a Christmas favorite at home. I think Mom and Aunt Rosie used to get together on this same times.
