Dough:
1/2 C plus 1 Tb. warm water (110-115º F)
1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
3 Tb. sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
2-2 1/4 C bread flour

Filling:
1 lb. ground beef
2 C chopped Cabbage
1/2 C chopped onion
salt, pepper, garlic to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté the onions until translucent; then add beef and brown; drain. Add the seasonings and cabbage and cook until the cabbage becomes translucent. Let mixture cool completely.
In the bowl of your mixer with the dough hook attached, soften the yeast in the water by sprinkling the yeast onto the water and gently mixing. Add the sugar, salt and egg and gently mix. Add the flour and mix until a soft dough forms. Place in a greased pan, cover and let rise for 1- 1 1/2 hours or until double in size.
Roll out the dough and cut into 12 parts. Fill each part with a scoop of filling and seal the edges by pulling them up over the filling and pinching them together. Place on a greased or parchment lined pan seam side down. Let rest for about 30 minutes. Bake at 400º for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and brush with butter.
