1 1/4 sticks butter
2 cups coarsely crushed pretzels
3 tablespoons white sugar
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup sugar
8 oz Cool Whip
1 (6 oz) box strawberry Jello
2 small pkgs frozen strawberries, slightly thawed
2 cups boiling water

Directions:

In 9 x 13 inch pan, melt the butter and then mix in the sugar and crushed pretzels. Spread out on bottom of pan. Bake at 400º for 10 minutes. Let cool.

Cream sugar and cream cheese. Add Cool Whip and mix well. Spread over cooled pretzel crust.

Dissolve Jello in 2 cups of boiled water, mix well. Add the slightly thawed strawberries.
Allow Jello mixture to thicken slightly, about 35-40 minutes. Then gently spoon over the cream cheese layer. Chill overnight.
