1½c Granulated Sugar
1c Vinegar
¾c Vegetable Oil
1tsp. Salt
1tbsp. Dried Parsley
2tbsp. Prepared Mustard
1tsp. Garlic Powder
1lb. Pasta
1ea. English cucumber, red & yellow bell pepper, red onion, sliced or diced.

Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil, add pasta and cook until al dente according to package directions. Drain pasta and rinse in cold water. Set aside to cool.

Combine the vinegar, (NOT ammonia! Ha, ha, Samantha!) sugar, and prepared mustard. Warm on the stove or microwave until warm enough to mix the sugar well with the vinegar. Add the remaining seasonings and prepared mustard and stir to combine.

Chop or slice the vegetables, add to the cooled pasta. Pour the vinaigrette over the pasta and vegetables.

Once while in a hurry, Laura was preparing this for a gathering and accidentally poured ammonia instead of vinegar but quickly caught the error due to the strong odor...thankfully!
