Equal parts of the ingredients:

brown sugar
smoked paprika
ground cumin
chili powder
garlic powder
onion powder
salt
ground black pepper
cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together making sure there are no lumps. Rub all side of the meat. For best results, refrigerate for 12 hours or longer. Place the brisket in the roaster/oven @ 300º. Cook for 9 hours or until the meat easily pulls apart.
