4 (4-6oz-1"thick) Sirloin Steaks, room temperature
Garlic Salt to taste
Black Pepper to taste
2 Tbsp Oil
2 Tbsp Butter, divided
2 Onions, sliced
3 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 Tsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 Cup Beef Broth (or 1/2 cup water and 1/2tsp beef oxo)
2 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup Heavy Cream of half and half
Fresh Parsley, for garnish, optional

Directions:

Pat dry steaks with paper towels, season with salt and pepper.
Heat oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large cast iron skillet over med-high heat. Add steaks and cook until desired doneness. (about 3-4 minutes per side for med-rare) Remove and keep covered.
In same skillet melt remaining butter. Add in onions and season with a pinch of salt. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until soft and caramelized. Stir frequently.
Stir in garlic and italian seasoning, cook for 10 seconds. Slowly add in broth and worcestershire. Scrape any browned bits off the bottom. Bring to a boil. Whisk in heavy cream and cook 1 minute more.
Reduce heat to med-low and return steaks to skillet. Continue to cook for 2 more minutes or until steaks are heated through and sauce has thickened. Remove from heat and garnish with parsley.
