1 (16 oz) can sliced or diced beets
1 T cornstarch
2 T brown sugar
2 T apple cider vinegar
1 T butter
1 C beet juice
1 T grated orange rind
1/8 tsp cloves


Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cornstarch together. Drain beets, reserving 1 cup juice, and set aside. Add vinegar to beet juice (add water if you don’t have one cup of beet juice). Mix all ingredients except beets into pot. Cook stirring constantly until thickened. Add beets and serve hot.
