3 cups almond flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp almond extract
3 large egg whites
2 dcups sliced raw almonds
1/2 cup chocolate chips ( chocolate melts)
1 tsp coconut oil (optional) helps it melt smoother

Directions:
Directions:
1. Whisk egg whites, add sugar and whisk until foamy.
2. Add almond extract: stir in and then continue to whisk until well combined.
3. Fold in almond flour: gently fold in the almond flour into the egg white miture, making sure everything is well mixed. If your dough is too crumbly, add one more egg white, if it is too wet add a little more almond flour.
4. Form the dough: Using a 1-Tbls scooper spoon or roll dogh into small balls
5.Prepare sliced almonds inn a boel and gently crush them with your hands.
6. Press into almonds: Press each cookie ball into crushed almonds, coating them
7. Shape and arrange:Place the almond coated cookies onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Shape int a horseshoe shape.
8. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes, until bottoms turn golden.
9 Melt chocolate
10. Dip in chocolate: Once the cookies have cooled to room temp, dip the bottom of cookies in melted chocolate. Set them back on parchment paper
11: Chill: place cookies int the refrigeator for about 15 minutes.
