1 c Butter
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Ginger
1/2 Baking soda
1/2 Cinnamon
1/2 Cloves
1/2 c Molasses
1 egg
1 T Vinegar
2 1/2 c Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter with electric mixer, then add sugar, baking powder, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, and cloves until combined. Beat in molasses, egg, and vinegar till combined. Stir in the flour to form dough. Divide dough in half cover and refrigerate for 3 hours.

Roll one portion of dough at a time to 1/4 inch on a lightly floured surface. Cut into desired shapes with cookie cutters. Place cutouts 1 -inch apart on a cookie sheet.

Bake in a 375 oven for 5 to 6 minutes.
