1 lb. med. button or crimini mushrooms (about 24)
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions with tops
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbs. snipped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry basil or 1 Tbs. minced fresh basil
1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Trim ends from mushroom stems. Remove stems from mushrooms and set caps aside. Chop stems finely. Sauté mushroom stems, green onions and garlic in butter over medium heat until tender. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
Fill mushroom caps with stuffing mixture. Place mushrooms filled side up in lightly greased baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
