Ingredients:
1 pkg. angel food cake mix
1 cup boiling water
1 3oz. pkg. strawberry jello
1 lb. frozen strawberries
(sliced)
1/2 pt. whipping cream
2 tbsp. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Bake angel cake as directed. Dissolve jello in boiling water, add strawberries, stirring to break up. Chill until slightly thickened.
Place cake, widest side down, on serving plate. Cut a 1 inch layer from top of cake and set aside. Cut around cake 1 inch from outer edges to 1 inch from the bottom. Gently remove cake from the cut section and tear into small pieces.
Fold pieces into strawberry mixture and spoon back into the well of the cake. Place top back on cake. Whip cream until thick and stir in sugar. Spread sweetened cream over top and sides of cake. Decorate with whole berries if desired. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving. You can use cool whip instead of cream, if desired.
