1 1/2 c. (12 oz box) vanilla wafers
1 c. pecan pieces
1 c. powdered sugar
2 tsp cocoa
3 Tbsp molasses, or karo: molasses is better

6 Tbsp bourbon, or rum ... may require more

Directions:
Directions:
Place all in food processor. Pulse until fine crumb stage and mixture 'coalesces' more or less. Roll into small balls, then roll in powdered sugar. They freeze well.

NOTE: Pecans taste better if toasted lightly. Add pecans last to avoid turning them into paste.
