6 Pkgs. dry yeast
2 C. warm water
1/4 C. sugar
1 1/2 pound flour
1/2 C. powdered milk
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. salt
1 C. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
Place warm water in mixing bowl; add yeast and sugar. Let set for 10 minutes.
Blend flour, dry milk, baking powder and salt in mixer bowl, with whip, 5 minutes at low speed.
With paddle on mixer, cut shortening into flour mixture.
Add yeast mixture and knead lightly.
Roll about 1/2 inch thick and cut in squares or rounds. Place in greased pans and let rise about 30 minutes. Bake in 425º oven about 15 minutes.
Dry mix may be made by mixing dry ingredients and cutting in shortening. May be stored until time for use, then mix yeast, water, sugar and prepare as directed above.
