2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Beat three ingredients together on high until thoroughly mixed. If you are not going to use immediately cover tightly with plastic because it does harden like cement.

This is the glue used to make gingerbread houses and stick the candy to your house. I got this recipe from my Aunt Hannah when I used to make gingerbread houses with her before Christmas. Now I use it to make candy houses with my third grade students in school.
