1/2 CUP SUGAR
2 EGG YOLKS
1 TSP VANILLA
2 CUPS FLOUR
1/4 TSP SALT
3 TABLESPOONS POPPY SEED
SUGAR

Directions:
PREHEAT OVEN TO 375. BUTTER A BAKING SHEET. CREAM BUTTER, SUGAR AND EGG YOLKS, AND ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS. MIX WELL AND CHILL 1 HOUR. ROLL 1 TSP DOUGH INTO A BALL AND PLACE ON BAKING SHEET. FILL SHEET WITH DOUGH BALLS. DIP BOTTOM OF JUICE CLASS INTO SUGAR AND PRESS DOUGH BALLS DOWN TO FLATTEN. BAKE 10 MIN UNTIL SLIGHTLY BROWN AROUND EDGES. REMOVE FROM PAN ONTO COOLING RACK. YOU CAN MAKE THIS RECIPE AS CHRISTMAS COOKIES BUT JUST USE RED OR GREEN COLORED SUGAR ON TOP INSTEAD!
