Bus Driver Cookies
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 Tbl. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. old fashioned oats (not instant)
1 c. cranraisins or raisins
2 c. whole pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla, and water. Mix well. Add flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well. Add oats, raisins, and pecans. Put heaping spoonful on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350° for 10-13 minutes, until a nice light brown. You can use wheat flour if you want. Makes 48 cookies.
