8 CUPS CORN PUFF CEREAL
1 CUP BROWN SUGAR, PACKED
1 CUP BUTTER
3/4 CUP LIGHT CORN SYRUP
1 TEASPOON SALT
1 TEASPOON VANILLA
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
1/2 CUP MAPLE SYRUP

1. Preheat oven to 275º Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

2. Add cereal to a large mixing bowl

3. In a medium sized sauce pan, combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup & salt. Heat mixture over medium heat until it comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for another 4-5 minutes.

4. Remove mixture from the heat and mix in vanilla, maple syrup and baking soda. Mixture will foam slightly and lighten in color.

5. Pour mixture over the cereal and mix until coated

6. Transfer nuggets to the prepared baking sheet and spread into an even layer.

7. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes

8. Allow treats to fully cool then break into pieces and enjoy. Store in an airtight container
