• 6 cups peeled and sliced apples (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tosp lemon juice
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
• Pinch of salt

Directions:

1. In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Transfer to the slow cooker.
2. In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture
resembles coarse crumbs.
3. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples in the slow cooker.
4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden.
5. Serve warm, optionally with a scoop vanilla ice cream.
