3/4 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp salt

Topping:
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix the melted butter with sugars until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour baking powder, cream of tartar, and salt. Stir until well combined.

Transfer batter to a prepared 9 x 13 pan. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top of the brownies. Bake 20-25 minutes or until the top is just turning golden.

I sometimes add white chocolate chips and/or coconut to kick it up a notch but they are fabulous as is in the recipe.
