1 (30 oz.) Bag Cubed Hash Browns, Thawed
1 Onion, Chopped
1 (10 oz.) Can Cream of Chicken Soup
2 c. Sour Cream
1 Egg, Slightly Beaten
1 t. Salt
1 t. Thyme
1 t. Garlic Granules
¼ t. Fresh Ground Black Pepper
3 T Butter
3 c. Corn Flakes

Directions:
- Spread hash browns on a cookie sheet, season with salt and pepper drizzle with olive oil.
- Broil potatoes in oven until they begin to brown then remove from heat, cool.
- Preheat oven to 350º F.
- Sauté onions in olive oil until the begin to brown, cool.
- In a large mixing bowl combine sour cream, soup, seasonings,cheese and egg, mix well.
- Next add potatoes and onions the mix well.
- Pour mixture into a prepared 9 x 13 baking dish.
- Pour corn flakes into a qt. six zip lock bag and slightly crush the add melted butter and shake well.
- Sprinkle corn flake topping evenly over potato mixture.
- Bake for 50 minutes.
